Through my journey of Aleka + Conner’s love story, I have been honored to witness some incredible moments of love with their unique testimonies. Not only was their Michigan beach engagement session to die for (check it out here!), so was their wedding; Full of colorful miscellaneous bridesmaid dresses, upscale whimsical floral arrangements, a gorgeous long sleeve dress for the bride, the most amount of love + emotions from family and friends, and an upscale historical brick venue with sparkling lights everywhere in Indiana.
In my hometown of Goshen, Indiana, Aleka + Conner were married surrounded by a large guest list of friends and family. Inside the venue, Bread & Chocolate, warm lights lit-up their first dance and elegant dinner of delicious eats catered in-house (did I mention spicy chicken bites + maple waffle triangles as an appetizer). Something that I’ve seen over + over at Bread & Chocolate, is their incredible dinner menu with attention to detail and plating. Even their desserts speak wonders, with mousse inside stemmed wine glasses and decadent cupcakes inside glass tea cups with fresh fruit + toppings.
Aleka + Conner chose a more colorful theme, with each bridesmaid was dressed in a different color holding bouquets made by Charlotte’s Bouquets, and the bride in an elegant ivory wedding dress with a sparkly belt from Renee Austin Weddings based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pearls in the brides half-up-do made the best subtle touch with large hair waves, by The Salon Four in Shipshewana, Indiana.
Some highlights of their day included a communion during the ceremony where guests participated, twisty candle sticks at every table in glass flutes, the grooms’ deep maroon colored suit + floral tie, the Old Bag Factory‘s unique historical, curved wall made with square glass bricks, running around the courthouse lawn and steps on the chilly November afternoon, and catching the last glimpse of golden hour before the sun went down.
Plus, working alongside Big Win Media was an honor, as he made my job easy!
