After our first engagement session was rained out by a very on-brand sudden Indiana thunderstorm, Bailey, Juliana, and I met up again at Ox Bow Park in Goshen, Indiana to capture this season of their engagement. Ox Bow Park is one of my favorite locations in Northern Indiana, with towering pine forests, open meadows, wildflower fields, and winding trails that make it perfect for an intimate, nature-filled engagement session.
I’ve known Bailey since we were little kids singing in the Christmas choir at church, so getting to photograph this chapter of his life feels especially meaningful. There’s something incredibly special about watching longtime friends fall in love and choose one another — and it’s an even greater honor to walk alongside them during such sacred moments from engagement to wedding day.
Their wedding day can’t come soon enough. I’m so excited to celebrate with them this April at The North Church Venue in Muncie, Indiana, a historic church wedding venue dating back to 1902 and the perfect setting for the intentional, faith-filled day they’re planning. Check out their wedding gallery on my blog, linked here!
“Claire captured our wedding day perfectly and provided us with pictures you can FEEL! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day she was attentive, purposeful, and authentic in how she guided us and those we loved. She was able to photograph our memories and deliver emotive pictures that take us right back to our happiest moments… Every single step was so easy and the process was. the least stressful out of all of my vendors. Claire greatly exceeded our expectations and we will definitely continue to use her for the many picture worthy milestones to come!” – Bailey + Juliana Hostetler
