I truly think the greatest date nights are those spent in your cozy home, with the one you love (and an even more special addition if it’s with your cat!).
Jack + Kennedy celebrated their first home and 1st wedding anniversary with a date night indoors, away from the freezing temps outside. Columbia City, Indiana brought some FRIGID temperatures the week of their session, and we steered clear of the sheets of ice outside.
I was so in-love with their first apartment + home, and how inviting it felt as soon as I walked in (and of course their cat was the main character during the entire session). We played games, including Bananagrams, chatted, enjoyed each others company. But most of all, I captured their genuine, fun love story in this incredible phase they share.
I love being able to tell stories through photos, it was the easiest capturing these two in their natural element: cozied up on the couch with their cat, playing games, and dancing in the kitchen with hot teas in hand! This photo session felt at the upmost on brand for myself: Their trust was evident, the images were cinematic, and their favorite parts of their home were highlighted. Enjoy!
