There’s something special about Grace and Will and their love story.
Their story started at Olivet Nazarene University, where they met and fell in love in the summer of 2022 on a traveling summer camp worship band as they attended school there. Since then, they were inseparable and have had shared many wonderful memories as they finished school together, got engaged, and planing their future together.
What initially started as a referral from a previous client, became some of my dear friends and most consistent clients. They had a short engagement season due to Will finishing up school and headed into medical school shortly after. Grace also dreamed of a cozy, warm, December wedding and found the perfect venue for it too (Legacy Wedding Barn in North Branch, Michigan). This meant their engagement season was about six months long. Due to this, we snagged these beach engagement photos in Michigan as soon as we could at my favorite beach, Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, Michigan, at golden hour. July beaches really pop off at Lake Michigan!

I too felt loved, and cared for by the Browns in every element of their engagement season to post-wedding day. Since their wedding, we’ve taken more photos together in cozy environments that held meaning. These photos, at their Grandma’s cabin at the lake, coming soon! We roasted marshmallows, twirled on the pier, and sipped some delish hot chocolate together. Even more beach photos made sense after their beach engagement photos in Michigan.
