Bailey + Juliana – April 2025

An eclectic and colorful wedding day full of nostalgic, vintage details at the historic North Church Venue in Muncie + Indianapolis, Indiana. With a thoughtful blend of 35mm film coupled with digital photography, every moment of the day felt intentional, sacred, and deeply rooted in meaning.
Bailey and Juliana approached their wedding day with purpose and a focus on the sacredness. From the very beginning, their focus stayed on the covenant they were entering and the significance behind every moment they shared together. Rather than creating a production, they allowed their day to unfold naturally. Not only was every element centered on faith and connection, the people who surrounded them were the most important. Vintage details layered throughout the day brought a sense of vibrant nostalgia, wrapping their wedding in warmth and personality. Above all, this was a celebration that any 60s–70s inspired bride should immediately save to Pinterest.
Vintage Details at the North Church Venue
Throughout the day, eclectic details reigned supreme. Mismatched colorful bridesmaid dresses, moss-covered florals, the bride’s satin gown, and thoughtfully curated china plates all contributed to the artistic atmosphere. Each element felt collected rather than styled, a reflection of Bailey and Juliana themselves. Likewise, Singletree Farms, based in Northern Indiana, outdid themselves with floral arrangements bursting with color and texture.
Because of their values, I photographed the day with a strong emphasis on 35mm film, capturing the couple in a way that felt grainy, cozy, and timeless. Without a doubt, film photography felt especially at home here. Likewise, the grain, color tones, and subtle imperfections elevated the vintage elements and preserved not just how the day looked, but how it felt.
Shooting film naturally slows me down and invites me to observe more closely. Which paired beautifully with the intentional pace of their wedding day together with their values. This colorful wedding in Muncie Indiana was a reminder of why film continues to hold such a meaningful place in wedding storytelling. Take a peak at my favorite add on, 35mm film, here and why I love it.
Moreover, what stood out most was how seamlessly the artistry came together. The textures and historic details of North Church Venue kept me in awe at every turn. Soft light poured through the colorful stained glass windows. Creating an incredible backdrop for bridal portraits, ceremony moments, and close-ups of wedding bands.
