Chloe + Jacob’s wintery cold engagement session came at the best time – the snow was shining on the fresh blanket of snow, at the historical campus of Notre Dame University in Notre Dame, IN.
As we walked the beautiful campus, we were extra cold + worked efficiently to travel to all the spots we hoped to find! This included The Basilica of the Sacred Heart, as we arrived right as bells rang for the student’s mass ceremony, as the Notre Dame website states, “The Basilica serves as the University Church for the University of Notre Dame and as the mother church for the Congregation of Holy Cross in the United States.”
We strolled underneath the Lyon’s Hall archway, and peered off of the balcony + stone steps out towards the Saint Mary’s Lake. Other spots included the Knights of the Columbus Council Hall, we caught the last glimpses of the sun + sparkling snow flakes underneath the Sorin Hall pine trees, and the stairs along the South Dining Hall.
The trench coat + dress clothing brought a editorial, cozy feel to these engagement pics. Did I mention the family heirloom flower ring?!
